Marianne Sharbel Legacy Society

When RMHCA Co-Founder Marianne Sharbel worked for the Children's Hospital Oncology Department in the 1970s, she saw firsthand the desperate need families had to stay together in a comfortable, safe place while their child received medical treatment.

In order to open our original House in 1979, Marianne and her fellow supporters explored all avenues to raise the needed funds, from tea parties to major gifts. Marianne has a special gift for inspiring action on behalf of guest families while making you feel like you're a part of her family.

Members of the Marianne Sharbel Legacy Society share that determination, hopefulness and love for RMHCA's mission. Are you ready to join?

What Is Legacy Giving Anyway?

Legacy giving is finding ways to make charitable gifts now or after your lifetime while enjoying financial benefits for yourself.

Legacy gifts are sometimes referred to as "stop-and-think" gifts because they require some planning and, often, help from your professional advisers. Unlike cash donations, they are typically made from assets in your estate rather than from disposable income, and come to fruition upon your death.

You might think that legacy giving is only for the "wealthy." The truth is, anyone can make a difference through legacy giving.

Everyone is welcome to the Marianne Sharbel Legacy Society and we look forward to helping you build your legacy!
